    ms irina kulikova is already at the height of her runway – she is very exclusive and mostly does only top shows ,,/

    3) Ms. Tara Jean is Canadian, bringing to three the number of top Canadian runway models starting with “Tar”: Tara Jean, Tara Gill, & Taryn Davidson ! The latter two women are fairly new & doing very well: see both in the astonishing, Schiaparelli-esque, Dolce & Gabbana fall 09 show.

    2) Tara Jean, & (a little too experienced for this cateogory) Tereza Cervenova. Ms. Gwen Loos should also be termed new, but has made a few, riveting recent appearances, particularly for Balenciaga, Nina Ricci & Chanel. Only the great Mr. Lagerfeld saw right away that Ms. Loos HAD to be paired with epic Skye Stracke, which he accomplished beautifully, like everything else, in the historic sunset Chanel Resort 2010 show, last summer, on the Lido in Venice.

    Chanel, as befits the world’s (arguably) pre-eminent fashion house, has one of most original styles of runway model selection & ordering. Most Chanel models walk twice. As the show progresses, new & ever more eminent or startling models also make a single walk.
    Of the 44 models making 67 appearances, only about 8 might respectfully be termed new or lesser-known: these would be the very-talented Ms. Jennifer Messelier, &a Sanchez, Yulia Lobova, Daniela Alves, Alina Kozelkova, Natasia Ohl,
