i luv luv luv Chanel….i wish i could afford it; it has been the only brand that i have never not liked. Other brands tend to change so much but Chanel is always classic

    Jepp. I sooo agree!
Always annoys me when they comment on such-and-such celebrity having such a good style, when they have clothes delivered free to their door and stylists to do create the looks. If one really wants to look at GOOD fashionistas, take to the streets! Particularily cities like Paris, Milan, London, NY. That’s where the designers get their inspiration in the first place.

I think Karl Lagerfeld is so unispired when he’s doing the Chanel collections. This one is obviously a pastiche of Coco’s style and life, hence the Catholic School-ish vibe about it (so in the face, not a lot of interpretation, nothing). Bo-o-ring. Unlike Karl’s personal collections under his own label …

No she’s not! There’s nothing to talk about so much when you’re IN fashion, like she was and still is. If she likes it, she buys the stuff, if not, no. And why did they ask her anyway? She used to be a model, not fashion critic. But she still looks very good for her age.

That’s Leigh Lezark, whose ubiquitousness at these shows lately is really freaking me out. She looks AWESOME in still images, tho.

it fucks me off how they ask celebrities like they would know anything when they’re just boring people who have probbly been styled by someone

chanel runways are my favorite. they go way past models just walking down a runway i remember there was even a chanel show that had a merry go round. the clothes are always timeless, too

  24. 24 midnightmagicwitch said at 7:33 pm on January 6th, 2010:

Since the economic crisis, there’s two kinds of collections: the austere, serious ones, designed to accept the financial scene with not pessimism, but minimalism.
The others are the provocative ones, who stand face to face to that cloudy weather we call bad economy.
It’s obvious Chanel stayed with the basics, but did it with a remarkable elegance, no doubt.
