This book is fascinating about the life of Coco Chanel. We read interesting, capturing the attention of the reader. The old photos are interesting as well. I was pleasantly surprised and not at all bored by his life story and the way in which it was said. Mademoiselle Chanel was a woman, totally invented her, she was his best creation. was not what one might call beautiful, but she had style and knew that powerful men knew how to work an invaluable talent in his day and unfortunitely to this day. Not only well written, gives you a perfect picture of an era and a fascinating fascinating woman. In a sense Chanel lived before his time, on the other hand had a perfect sense of how to translate it in time lived. I enjoyed the book. Rating: 5 / 5
This is a “good” book, but to call it “Chanel and her world” is not accurate. Even though we have great pictures, it’s more of an overview of his life and times I lived inside presumed this would be more of an in-depth recollection of his life, his love affairs, and what has made the His passion for life. The book does not talk about her loves, but on a very general level. The author has begun to talk about his famous romance with a boy, and then just sort of fizzled, and then a chapter has been said that a boy died. But there was nothing between their relationship famosi.Per example, once again, there was no mention on the infamous Emilienne D’Alencon, but again only one more vista.Avrei buy new? Probably – not just borrow or possibly check out from the library. Rating: 3 / 5
